Jan Chessell
With 30 years experience spanning media, corporate affairs and not for profits, Jan has spent the past four years building and running the communications function for a not-for-profit navigating state and federal politics in support of the renewable energy transition.
A former business journalist and editor with The Daily Telegraph (London) and Sydney Morning Herald, Jan has also held senior positions at leading international PR firms, FTI Consulting and FleishmanHillard UK, advising on cross border transactions, market listings, reputational issues, as well as strengthening brand awareness and product launches.
Jan has also led in-house media teams at Westpac in Australia and TSB, one of the UK’s biggest retail banks.

Caroline Gurney
Caroline is the former CEO of Future Generation - comprising the listed investment companies Future Generation Australia and Future Generation Global, as well as the unlisted trust Future Generation Women (which she launched in 2024).
Her 4-year tenure demonstrated her ability to elevate profile, raise brand awareness and attract investor support, honed over more than 20 years at the sharp end of corporate communications.
She previously served as Head of Asia-Pacific Corporate Affairs for global retail and investment banks Citigroup and UBS.
Caroline is also an experienced not-for-profit board director and is on the Advisory Board of Future Generation Women.

Ingrid Pyne
Following a 20-year career in journalism across global outlets including The Times of London, The Australian Financial Review, Seven Network and The Australian Women’s Weekly, Ingrid has spent the past four years at Wilson Asset Management, developing content and leadership platforms to grow the Future Generation brand.
Working alongside Caroline, highlights have included launching two acclaimed podcast series, co-creating industry-leading conferences in partnership with Fairfax/Nine, supporting the launch of Future Generation Women, and writing opinion pieces and speeches to advance campaigns.

After more than 20 years at The Australian Financial Review, Jemima has unparalleled insight into the daily machinations of business media. She knows what journalists are looking for, what drives a narrative and why.
At the forefront of groundbreaking investigative features and news, opinion, analysis and magazine features, her experience spans print media, podcasts and free-to-air television production.
Jemima is also active in the not for profit space and is a board member of the State Library of NSW Foundation.
